With the news that the Births, Deaths, Marriages and Relationships Registration (BDMRR) has gone to Cabinet ahead of its second reading, and then return to Public Submissions to the Select Committee(again), it was curious to see noted anti-transgender group Speak Up For Women claiming the bill was a demonstration that Minister for Women Jan Tinetti, who has clearly stated her support for trans women as women, had listened to them.
